I'm in. Your RR 1572 and slip makes me think of some I've carried for work in the past. Once I got serious about a knife as a tool and not just as something to carry always but use only occasionally, my biggest concern was surface rust from pocket living. Seeing you make the slip has me smacking my head in frustration for not doing something like this in the past. Like everything that is obvious, I tend to miss those things. The one I carry now for everyday use is an older electricians knife. The blades are stainless, but the springs are carbon. My answer has been to rub them with candle wax every few weeks to help protect the steel, rather than have oily pockets. Great idea.

You need to make a little sheath with a belt loop on the back so you can tote it around without it bothering you.. lol assuming you wear a belt.. if not 😕

Awesome George. Maybe you should make a disclaimer about overseas mail. It can get so expensive and risky shipping knives to other countries.

Holy cow where did you grab that for 21 bucks.. i saw a black version for 29.99.. i have a buck version of that.. the only thing I don't like about it is the thumb knail on the main blade i believe is very hard to get hold of.. great buy for you though.. congrats . 👍

That is a nice knife George. Looks like it was built for work, I dont know why but it reminds of a Barlow. Good looking sheath. You probably have heard the saying, if it can't be fixed with a hammer it's probably electrical. Take care.

Im in! RR1572, great video brother! I buy leather scraps from eBay, I buy from the same person every time, and the scraps are good veg tanned leather of various weights. Hope to get to meet you at Kevin's shindig!

Nothing like an old vintage knife to bring back memories of sitting on the porch eating apples with my Grandfather. I still carry his Old Timer pocket knife.
